Health experts support sugar tax as Coalition calls for 'personal responsibility'


Australian Medical Association president Michael Gannon says task ahead comparable to taking on big tobacco. Peak health bodies and public health experts have supported calls from the Australian Medical Association to introduce a sugar tax, despite fierce opposition from food and drink industry representatives and politicians.
