Patients accuse Sydney dentist of sexual assault


A Sydney dentist is accused of sexually assaulting multiple patients, including a 15-year-old and another who wore her school uniform to her appointment. An aroused Bassem Fouad would frequently press himself against his patients, prosecutor Daniel Noll alleges. Fouad would also place his dentistry tools on their breasts, the prosecutor told Downing Centre District Court during the trial's opening on Tuesday.

Police hunt well-dressed pair over ‘savage’ hammer attack on dentist


Police are looking for two well-dressed men who strode into a dental practice in Sydney’s southern suburbs last month and carried out a savage attack on a cosmetic dentist. William Zafiropoulos, 54, was with a patient when he was set upon with hammers at his Classic Smiles Miranda practice at about 9.15am on February 24, leaving him with multiple fractures. Four days later, a 64-year-old relative heard noises outside her apartment in Arncliffe, and found accelerant had been poured at her front door.
