According to IBIS World data, operators in the Dental Services business in Australia have faced a number of hurdles in the last five years, limiting industry growth. Weak increase in household disposable incomes and a minor drop in the number of people with private health insurance have been constraining industry demand. These factors have resulted in 0.6% yearly revenue increase during the next five years, from 2021 to 2022. In the current year, growth rates are expected to be somewhat higher at 1.6%, bringing industry revenue to $10.6 billion.
