A woman has told a Sydney court she could whistle through a gap in her teeth after drilling work, in a case against two people accused of posing as registered dentists...Amira Karam made an appointment at Guildford Dental Care in October last year after losing part of a filling.

Melbourne dental operators penalised


The former operators of a Melbourne dental practice have been penalised a total of $73,000 for underpaying a visa holder tens of thousands of dollars, following legal action by the Fair Work Ombudsman. Ari Masters and Christine Masters, who formerly operated and part-owned the No Brace Centre dental clinic in the Melbourne CBD, have been penalised $55,000 and $18,000, respectively, by the Federal Circuit Court.

Following on from the above story: Melbourne dental clinic No Brace Centre closed on Friday 30 August 2019 without prior notice....On 4 September 2019, the Supreme Court of Victoria appointed Justin Howlett of SMB Advisory as liquidator of the No Brace Centre, taking control of the business and its finances.

German dentist pulls world's longest known human tooth


On Tuesday, a dentist from the German city of Offenbach received a certificate from Guinness World Records for pulling the longest known human tooth. Dr. Max Lukas had extracted the 37.2-millimeter (1.46-inch) giant tooth from a patient in nearby Mainz who sought help in 2018 for severe dental pain.
