NSW dentist who prescribed excessive doses of an addictive painkiller to 10 patients has registration cancelled


A NSW dentist who prescribed excessive doses of an addictive painkiller to 10 patients without monitoring their treatment or keeping accurate clinical records has been banned. The NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal found Dr Peter Joseph Brian Buys guilty of professional misconduct and cancelled his dental practitioner licence for 12 months.
