Dental emergency at Mona Vale


A helicopter was called when a patient undergoing surgery at a dental practice could not be woken up. Just before 12.15pm this afternoon (Wednesday, 02 September), NSW Ambulance responded to a dental practice at Mona Vale after a 21-year-old woman was unable to be awoken following surgery to extract multiple teeth. It is understood the young woman had been administered anaesthetic and pain relief for the dental surgery and was unconscious throughout the procedure, which was otherwise unremarkable.
