Labor resists internal push for dental in Medicare, saying focus is on strengthening general practice


The federal government has hosed down suggestions from within its own ranks that Medicare should be expanded to include dental, as new data shows almost two-thirds of Australians delayed treatment in the last 12 months, largely due to the cost.
